Ritual Use
To be worked with across a whole ceremony, element by element, opening in one and closing in another as the work asks.
To be used in cultivating a reciprocal relationship with place, giving something back to the ground, the water and the flame.
Fire
Calendula, orange peel and rosemary. Offered a pinch at a time to a fire pit for ancestral connection & release rituals.
Water
Rose, calendula and lavender. Given to rivers, lakes and the sea for grief & prayer work.
Earth
Rose, chamomile and calendula. Scattered thinly at sacred sites, at gravestones, at thresholds and at the feet of trees. A biodegradable alternative to prayer flags and ties.
Hand blended in ceremony in our small workshop in North Devon, using organically and ethically grown herbs. Each batch is made in small numbers and set with the intention it is made for.

How to use
Hold the herbs in your hands and set your intention before you give them. A pinch is enough of any of the three.
For fire, lay a pinch straight on the flames, or on a charcoal disc sat in a heatproof dish of sand, ash or salt. For water, offer at the edge and let the water take them. For earth, scatter thinly and leave it only on ground you have permission to be on.
Check what is appropriate for the place you are giving to.
Safety
Not food, not a cosmetic, not a medicine. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never leave burning herbs unattended, and burn in a well ventilated room. Charcoal discs stay hot for a long time, so leave the dish to cool fully before moving it.
