Fire offerings
Offer a pinch to the flames - in a ritual fire pit or hearth. The smoke burns away dense energy and carries your prayers out to the spirits held within it.
Ritual Use
To be used in releasing rituals in a sacred fire, at the turning points of the year, the solstices, Samhain, a dark moon, and tending endings.
To be offered to the flame in acts of gratitude, alchemy, grief ritual and rage work.
To be given at the opening of a ceremony and again at its close.
Hand blended in ceremony in our small workshop in North Devon, using organically and ethically grown herbs. Each batch is made in small numbers and set with the intention it is made for.
Ingredients: Calendula, Orange Peel, Rosemary.
15g in a glass jar.
To use
Sit a charcoal disc in a heatproof dish of sand, ash or salt and light the edge. Wait for it to stop sparking and grey over, then lay a small pinch of the blend on top. Add more as the smoke thins. Over an open fire, offer a pinch straight to the flames.
Open a window or a door first, so the smoke and what it carries has somewhere to go.
Safety
Safe to burn in small amounts. Burn in a well ventilated room and never leave it unattended. Keep away from children, pets, fabric and anything else that catches. Not for internal use. Store the jar closed, somewhere dry and out of direct sun.
