Earth offerings
Made for leaving offerings to the earth, to sacred sites and to gravestones. A biodegradable alternative to prayer flags and ties.
Ritual Use
To be left at sacred sites, at gravestones and at the feet of trees, at the turning points of the year, a new moon, and the tending of the dead.
To be used to bring reverence and beauty into the darkest moments.
To cultivate a reciprocal relationship with place.
To be given to the ground in acts of gratitude, remembrance, grief ritual and asking.
To be offered at the opening of a ceremony and again at its close.
Rose, chamomile and calendula, dried whole and blended by hand. Plant matter only. No salt, no glitter, no synthetic oils, nothing that will sit in the soil after you have gone. It softens into the earth and disappears.
Hand blended in ceremony in our small workshop in North Devon, using organically and ethically grown herbs. Each batch is made in small numbers and set with the intention it is made for.
Ingredients: Rose, Chamomile and Calendula.
15g in a glass jar.
How to use
Hold the herbs in your hands and set your intention before you give them. Scatter a pinch thinly at the foot of a tree, at a threshold, or wherever you are asking something of the ground.
Leave it only on ground you have permission to be on, and check what is appropriate for the place you are giving to.
Safety
Not food, not a cosmetic, not a medicine. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Offer only in small amounts.
