Ritual Use
To be worked into the skin as tending rather than maintenance, a way of staying in relationship with the drum between playing.
To be used before ceremony, oiling the head and the lacing as you settle yourself.
To be used when a drum comes back into your hands after months put away.
Oiling helps the skin stay supple in hot dry weather, and slows how much moisture it takes on in damp, which is what leaves a drum sounding flat.
Made in ceremony in our small workshop in North Devon, in small batches, each one set with the intention it is made for.
Ingredients: Almond oil infused with Rose and Calendula & Vit E Oil.
10ml in a glass bottle.
How to use
Use every few months, or whenever the skin feels dry and tight. Less is usually more, and you can always add another drop.
Put a few drops on the drum head and rub it in gently. Do the same with the rawhide lacing on the back, and make sure the handle gets some too.

Do not use if you are allergic to almonds. Made for the care and conditioning of drum skins and ritual tools. Not a cosmetic or a body product, and not for use on skin, in the mouth or on food. Keep away from children and pets and store out of direct sunlight. Made from natural materials, so colour and scent will vary a little from batch to batch.
